2010 is here and we are very excited about all that the New Year has to offer. For the next month and half we will be displaying our products at all the major home shows around the Kansas City area (See below for schedule). This upcoming weekend we will be back at the RV & Boat Show at Bartle Hall and we will be presenting our new product, the E-shield. Come out and talk with one of our promoters about how Alenco can help save you money on your energy bills. We also have started our road show schedule for Sam’s Club, in Topeka we have our sunroom display and in Grandview we have our window display. Please stay posted for future road show schedules.

It’s truer than you know, A large portion of a homes energy loss is through the roof. Most of our homes could use another foot of Insulation, But who wants to drag that dirty , itchy fiberglass stuff through the house to add it to the attic

A space suit can be 310 degreesF on the side facing the sun and -290 degreesF on the opposite side. But a flexible radiant barrier laminated into the fabric allows the space suit to reflect the searing heat of the sun and retain the body’s warmth on the dark side. Your home is like a space suit. It should keep heat in when the weather is cold – and keep it out when the weather is hot. eShield is made of the same radiant barrier technology used by NASA in space.
Department of Energy tests show that eShield attic energy barrier can deliver more energy savings than twelve inches of additional fiberglass insulation. Better yet eShield radiant barrier is thin, clean, and lacks all of the bad habits of fiberglass. It can produce dramatic results in your attic, and keep your heating and cooling dollars from going through the roof.

The warm tempretures we have enjoyed all fall have spoiled us. Of course a lot of you have been anxious to test out your new home improvements. Whenever you get something new you want to try it out and for our customers who have installed solid core vinyl siding and vinyl replacement windows, theres nothing like a cold windy day.You made a wise choice that will pay dividend at tax time and every month on utilities.
Of course we can’t blame you if you want to brag a little to friends. After all you have reduced your energy savings by 20% with your solid core vinyl siding. You could ask them if they want your old paintbrushes because you don’t need them anymore. Tell them that your home is so warm and quiet that you just don’t notice the cold wind anymore with your new vinyl replacement windows.

Fall is officially upon us and I hope all of you are enjoying the cooler temperatures. There is still plenty of time to get NEW energy efficient windows installed before winter begins. This will help keep the cold air out and keep the inside of your home nice and toasty. Make sure you mark you calendar for the HBA Fall Home Show on October 23-25th, that will take place in Bartle Hall. We will have our products on display and some of our representative presents who can give you more information about special sales we are offering. This weekend the mobile showroom will be at Belton’s Pumpkin Festival and there will be a number of different attractions, contest and activates which guarantees you will have a great time. So bring the whole family out and enjoy the fall weather.
